Donald C. Willis Classic G-1 Flight Aviator Bomber Leather Jacket

The G-1 Leather Flight Jacket entered service in the late 1930s and became the standard flight jacket for flyers in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The bi-swing pleat in the shoulder of the G1 Bomber jacket (which continues down the back to a belted waist) and the two gussets under each arm allowed for easy mobility in spaces with notoriously small cockpits (as well as the ability to swim, if necessary).The two sizable front button flap pockets with radiused bottom corners and a gently curved flap are authentically replicated in our G1 Navy Flight Jacket. The merino lamb mouton fur collar on the G-1 Bomber jacket is identical, and it has a flap with a button fastening and a white “USN” mark. In order to keep you warm in the air or on the ground, this G-1 jacket also boasts a zipper wind-flap with “USN” perforation and 100% rayon lining.
